Job Description

Purpose: 

The HR Administrator assists with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the human resources functions and duties. An important part of this role is to act as the liaison between the HR Department and employees, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of requests and questions. 

Key Accountabilities:

  • The HR Administrator will provide high level administrative support for the Human Resources Department.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR Manager/department.
  • Maintain human resources records by recording new hires, transfers, terminations, changes in job classifications, merit increases; recording leave of absence time through HRIS system.
  • Run various HR system reports.
  • Work to optimize HRIS process and improve efficiency to minimize time required to complete.
  • Maintain, create and update grievance and discipline tracking systems; generate data reports; research history information; process grievance payments and disciplinary documents.
  • Manage hourly attendance tracking system, generating disciplinary actions and reports.
  • Perform as the SAP Gatekeeper.
  • Ability to handle confidential data with high degree of tact and integrity.Proficient knowledge of Excel, Access, Word and SAP functions for processing work orders, creating purchase requisitions, services entries, and storeroom reservations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work with all levels of the organization and external customers.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects.

 

Job Requirements

Minimum Required Experience and Education:

  • Associate degree in relevant field, or equivalent combination of education/work experience.
  • 3-4 years experience in a business/manufacturing environment; preference will be given to those individuals with human resources and/or scheduling experience.
